Well located, one street off of river, easy walk to train station. Solid 3 star. Clean, quiet, room 44 small but ok, European sized shower.Elevator works well. Didn’t eat the breakfast. Plenty of alternatives nearby. Know that most shops close at 7:00PM including the grocery stores.

We stayed at Hotel Krone Luzern for four nights. The location is great, right in the old town and close to restaurants, bars, cafes, and a 10-15 minute walk from the main train station. Check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly, even giving us tips for watching the New Year’s Day fireworks at the lake. We ate breakfast at the hotel three times. The food selection was limited but okay. Our room was big and clean, but there was no heater or air conditioning. Despite staying during the winter, we still had to open the windows to cool down the room as it got a bit too warm at night, which meant noise from the street and early morning garbage trucks disturbed our sleep. Also, the body wash/shampoo in the bathroom wasn’t refilled, leaving us short by the end of our stay. The WiFi was really bad unless we stood near the door, which was quite inconvenient. Overall, the hotel's location is a big plus, but the issues we faced, especially with noise and WiFi, were downsides.

Upon Arrival/Departure - Check in/out was hassle free & smooth - The guy at the reception did the paper work - a quick one & passed us the keys & the map of the city. Bedroom Apartment - Apartment ambience 9/10 - Size was reasonable 9/10 (For 3adults) - Cleanliness 8.5/10 - Bed comfortability 8.5/10 - Bed & linens cleanliness 8.5/10 - Safe is available in the room - Basic toiletries (2in1 or 3in1) are available in the room which is good enough unless you’re very particular abt it then better to bring your own - No toothbrush 🪥 given - Towels are changeable via make up room which is done automatically unless you’re not making up the room - Electric kettle is not available - Coffee machine & capsules is in the room - Breakfast option available opposite or nearby - WiFi is available 8/10 🌟Important Note🌟 - 12 - 15mins walk from Lucerne Station - A little rough along the way (no big deal) - Many restaurants within walking distance - All sightseeing is within walking distant. Summary - Everything was perfect! - Is right at the heart of the old town! - The comfort of the bed & pillow was great! - Great price for a great location

The location was great (we walked from the train station) and the room very comfortable. The windows opened on to the square below! The breakfast was too pricey for us, but the bakery next door had very good choices. We would definitely recommend a stay here when in Lucerne.

Beautiful hotel in old town. Everything is near by including chapel bridge, restaurants, shops, train station. Breakfast is really good and front desk is very helpful. Front desk suggested good restaurants and very helpful explaining where to visit and what to do. We were 3 adults and room had good space for three of us.
